We at the Langley Academy Primary are seeking a Cleaner to join our team and maintain our high standards of cleaning. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for cleanliness.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste properly
- Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper
- Notify management of any damages or repairs needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
